Data Protection Policy
We take the protection of personal data very seriously. We have therefore prepared the following information for you on the data we collect, and on how we store, use, and process these data.

Personal data
We do not collect any personal data when you visit our website apart from those data required to log access (see section: Logging access). We will only ask you for certain pieces of personal data if you request further product information. Specifically, we may ask for your company name, first name and surname, address, and telephone and fax numbers. In order make contact as quick and uncomplicated as possible, we will also ask you for your e-mail address.

Storage and transmission of your personal data
For security reasons, we do not store your personal data on our web server. When you submit a request via our order form, your data are transmitted to us by e-mail, and stored and processed on our local data processing system. We only process data as necessary.

Forwarding of your data to third parties
We will not normally make your data available to third parties. Where we are obliged to do so by law or a court order, we will also transmit your data to bodies entitled to such disclosure.

Your rights as a data subject
You may exercise the following rights at any time using the contact details provided for our Data Protection Officer:

Right of access to data which we store and information on the processing thereof;
Right to rectification of incorrect personal data;
Right to erasure of your data stored with us;
Right to restriction of processing unless we are not yet permitted to erase your data due to legal obligations;
Right to object to us processing your data; and
Right to data portability insofar as you have consented to data processing or concluded a contract with us.

Where you have granted us consent, you may withdraw this at any time with effect for the future.

You may contact your respective supervisory authority with a complaint at any time. Which supervisory authority is relevant for you depends on the federal state where you live, work, or where the alleged breach took place. 

 


Use of our online service

In principle, you may use your online service without disclosing your identity. An exception to this is when you send us a product query via our contact form. In this case, we will ask you for the data specified above. Unfortunately, we cannot process your order or query unless you provide us with these data.

Logging access
Every time you access our website, information about this instance of access is stored in log files. Specifically, the IP address, the page accessed, and the date and time of access are recorded. The so-called User Agent is also additionally stored. This is a character sequence which usually indicates the browser being used. These data are not attributed to any personal data you may have sent us. These data are used for statistical purposes only in order to ensure or expand the service and compatibility of our website accordingly. We will never connect these data to your personal data.

Use of cookies
We occasionally use so-called session cookies on our website. Unlike normal cookies, these cookies are not stored on your computer. As soon as you close your browser, the session cookie is automatically erased. A session cookie does not make it possible for you to be identified since no personal data are stored here. We will also not be able to recognise you when you access our website another time. This is not in our interest since it is up to your personally to decide whether and when you wish to disclose your identity to us.

You may also use our service without cookies. Most browsers are set up to automatically accept cookies. However, you can deactivate cookies or adjust your browser settings so that the browser informs you as soon as cookies are sent.

Links to other websites
Our website also includes links to various other websites. However, we have no influence on adherence by the operators of these websites to the applicable data protection provisions.

Use of Google Maps
This website uses a Google Maps API to present geographical information visually. When Google Maps is used, data on the visitor’s use of the map function are also collected, processed, and used by Google. Linked YouTube videos

We link YouTube videos on some of our webpages. The operator of the corresponding plug-ins is YouTube LLC, in the USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, you also establish a connection to the YouTube servers. YouTube is then informed of which pages you visit. If you are logged in to your YouTube Account, YouTube can attribute your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information on usage behaviour.

If you have deactivated cookie storage for the Google Ads program, then you do not have to worry about these cookies when viewing YouTube videos either. However, YouTube does record non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this then you must block storage of cookies in your browser.
